Cosmic Realms
Creation Mythos (Cosmogony)
In the beginning, only water and sky existed. The grandsons of the sky god Languit, led by the wind god Daga, attacked the sky realm for power. Languit struck them with lightning, killing them. Bitoon, looking for her brothers, was also accidentally struck. Tubigan calmed Languit, and they gave the dead grandchildren's bodies light: Bulan became the Moon, Aldao (Adlao) the Sun, and Bitoon the stars. Daga’s body remained dark and became the Earth.
